Mike Vick signs with the Eagles
All I can say is I am glad the Lord is in the bussiness of forgiveness and second chances. The Philadelphia Eagles signed Mike Vick to a 2 year deal. There was no doubt in my mind whether or not a team would sign him. The question always was, is there 32 Qb's in the NFL better than Vick? I don't think so! This is just a temp job while he gets back in NFL shape and game speed. I hope he learned his lesson because its football season, and its time to move on.

I'm glad someone picked him up.He brings a lot to any team and he has just lifted the Eagles up to Superbowl caliber.

I don't think he is going to do anything with the eagles accept get in shape and campaign 4 a starting job in 2010 elsewhere. He has an option out after the first year of 1.3 million. I am sure his second at 5.3 million is gonna be a trade benefit 4 the eagles. One can only wonder what they will get 4 him.

Every man is entitled to a second chance. He made a mistake, a horrible mistake but he is a Football player who has paid his debt to society under the laws we abide by or not. He suffered the consequence of his actions, and it is clear, he knows it was a mistake and hopefully won't pursue this activity anymore. Since he's paid his debt under society's rules, he should not be prevented from his livlihood and obvious talents for the game. Give him a shot, he's a great player if not one of the top 10, and let's leave Football out of his past of personal strife. Fair is fair folks. He deserves a shot at redeeming himself to the curious minds of his lifestyle and Football. He has been judged by society and has paid a heavy price for his actions. Forgiveness and redemption are critical aspects of being a good christian. Let us all be good christians and forgive and let his redemption follow.

It was interesting, accept mc nabb pulled the plug on a offense that has no rhythm with vick on the field. Raiders, here he comes.
